Join us for a fun, interactive field trip designed to enhance your Native American unit in accordance with the Colorado Model Content Standards for History. We will compare and contrast the historical lifestyles of the Plains (Arapahoe and Cheyenne) tribes with those of the Pueblo and Navajo peoples. This unit includes discussion of traditional homes and sources of food; textiles (including plants, animal hides and Navajo rugs); and storage vessels. Kids make a coil pot to take home!
Home school groups are welcome.

Fee: $2 per student*
Minimum 25 students, maximum 60 students; up to 8 adult chaperones
* Materials fees may be waived for schools with 30% or greater free and reduced lunch rates.
